Personal experience

Being born and raised in California has given me an innate love of the outdoors, surfing, scuba diving, and snowboarding are some of my favorite activities!  In 2012 I moved to Denver, Colorado, lived there for a year before joining the US Air Force. I was stationed at Hill AFB Utah. I moved back to California after my 6 year enlistment. In 2019,  joined the US Navy and am currently serving in the reserves.

I’m a nerd at heart, I love star wars, playing video games, anime, etc. I love formula 1 and am a petrolhead for sure! As with many young women faced with feelings of inadequacy and body image issues, I had little to no knowledge about fitness when I was a teenager , and seeing magazines and advertisements with beautiful women and perfect bodies help. I needed to find a way to overcome that situation.  In 2013 I stepped into the gym for the first time, because starving yourself isn’t healthy. I immediately fell in love with weight training, I learned to use it with various forms of cardio as constructive outlets and as time went on I learned to have a better relationship with food as well!
While I was in the Air Force I had earned my Associates in Criminal Justice. After being accepted to the University of Utah I continued working on my Bachelors in Kinesiology. I am  ultimately working towards my degree In Physical Therapy, MS, PhD.
Along my fitness journey I have overcome so much, I improved my physical fitness and appearance, I also improved my mental and emotional health too! As someone who has come from a place of insecurity and weakness, I love being able to be a guide for people who are also starting out, or continuing, their fitness journey, seeing the changes and improvements is amazing! Fitness is a life long journey, it’s something I have become passionate about and I love to help others along their journey and see fitness as a gift!
In 2022 I earned my personal trainer certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Since  then I have had the opportunity to train and change people’s lives in such a positive way.
