I’m glad you are here, my name is Kayla. I am an ACE certified Personal Trainer who specializes in strength and resistance training, functional and mobility fitness, and weight loss. My aspirations as a personal trainer stem from the desire of being a catalyst for others who want to make a positive lifestyle change. I will take on your goals as my own so we can accomplish them together, let’s get to work.
I have been an athlete for most of my life and understand the value of fitness and how it contributes to a healthy lifestyle by promoting longevity and disciplined behavioral habits. Health and wellness truly became my passion when I began college at 17 years old. Playing collegiate rugby for two years and being on competitive softball teams for eight years instilled in me my deliberate approach to train for specific performance goals. After receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, I furthered my education by obtaining my ACE training certification upon deciding that being a wellness professional was the career I was called to be in.
My past and current clients come from all backgrounds, whether they are first time gym goers or advanced fitness enthusiasts. As your trainer, I will assist you in reaching your goals through effective science based exercise programming and nutritional guidance, amongst providing my expertise on injury prevention and any other concerns you may have throughout your wellness journey.
