Hello I’m Mimi! I am a NASM certified personal fitness trainer and nutrition coach. I’ve been in the health & fitness industry since 2003.  I am a “fitness for the rest of us” kind of trainer. Let’s train in ways that mimic everyday movement so you can stay active for life! Our bodies change as we age, which means we need to change the way we care for them in order to be healthy. It’s not just about strength, but flexibility, coordination, balance, and mobility too – that is truly the bigger picture!  

I strongly believe fitness and nutrition go hand in hand.  It’s difficult to achieve optimal wellness with only one part of the equation. This becomes even more important in the second half of life. I’ve had my own struggles with health that exercise alone couldn’t fix: low thyroid, migraines, and multiple issues with my gut. I had to completely change my diet even though I’ve always eaten “healthy.” It’s been a tough road cooking for the family when my kids and I all have multiple food sensitivities, but I’ve figured some things out and love to help others do the same.  

Faith, family, fitness, and food – that is me in a nutshell! I am a master at making time for simple allergen-friendly delicious meals and workouts inside a busy schedule. I would love to be your partner in your journey to better health!
